No matter who you lost - or when - you are welcome here. I took the photo above a few days ago to remind me that hope, like these buds and blossoms in my backyard, may seem fragile but is really miraculously strong. We know the land will flower after the cold, dark winter though such a thing looks impossible. The earth is full of miracles that we can observe but not create.
In this season of uncertainty, look for these steadying signs that the God who created and cares for us is still right here with us. In all the small and tender places, in the power of the storm, and in each of us.
