Meet Sandy

10/31/2019

Through the years, as I got to know Sandy Walden, I recognized her courage and strength and saw some of the gifts she has to give to the world. That is why I invited her to share posts on Way for Hope. And, today, I'd like to give you a chance to hear directly from her in a YouTube interview in which she discusses her book, The Acorn Journal: Messages of Connection From the Other Side.

She already had a connection with healing before the worst day of her life, when she lost her youngest son, Mike, unexpectedly to suicide. Through Reiki and hypnosis, her gentle voice and hands had helped many people. Now, she is also a Master Grief Coach. In between those times - then and now - she struggled with the complex grief that follows suicide. Her journey has brought her a new way to connect ... with grieving people and with Mike.

Our paths are different, yet our purpose is similar: to bring comfort to those in pain.

Connection heals. Reach out to friends or family members. Talking over a cup of coffee, going out for lunch, meeting for a walk or just spending time together can lift your spirit and bless others as well.
